The educational establishment Lyceum No. 11 «Phystech» was founded in 1991 by a group of enthusiasts with the backing of MIPT Lecturers and Dolgoprudny town authorities.
Since 2014 it has existed under the name of GOBY «Phystech-Lyceum Of Maths And Sciences named after P.L. Kapitsa».
Now its official name is Autonomous Independent Educational Organisation «Phystech-Lyceum Of Maths And Sciences named after P.L. Kapitsa».
The main purpose of the Lyceum is to prepare future university students motivated for scientific engineer and research work in different fields of science and technology.
